Telehealth services
Amerigroup District of Columbia, Inc. has been a pioneer in providing our enrollees with telehealth services since 2013. By developing programs using leading edge technologies, our solutions expand the reach, and scope of services in both rural and urban settings to provide new and existing enrollees with direct options that increase their engagement and support their urgent, wellness, and behavioral health needs. With array of telehealth services and telehealth partners from Amerigroup, enrollees can use:
- Language Line Kiosk program with language line interpreter services and video conferencing to enable behavioral health visits
- Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Recovery Support program
- Medication-assisted treatment
- Increased assess to school-based sick visits and behavioral health counseling
- Remote patient monitoring (RPM) for identified enrollees with chronic diseases including asthma, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, high blood pressure, and congestive heart failure
Mental health and substance use disorder
One of our goals in providing telehealth services is to expand access to mental health counseling and substance use disorder treatment for both new and existing enrollees from their location and in primary care settings.
