The State of Georgia has issued a state of emergency for North Georgia, and the impacted area may extend to parts of Central Georgia, including Metro Atlanta, starting January 22, 2026, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, unless the governor renews the state of emergency.

When it comes to our pregnant members, we are committed to keeping both mom and baby healthy. That’s why we encourage all our moms-to-be to take part in our Taking Care of Baby and Me® program, which is a comprehensive, proactive case management and care coordination program for all expectant mothers and their newborns.
We work collaboratively with hospitals, group practices and independent behavioral healthcare providers, community and government agencies, human service districts, and other resources. This enables Amerigroup to meet the needs of members with mental health and substance use disorders as well as those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
